I also noticed that after the ‘,info’ part, now /myusername is shown.
I never indicated my self or noticed this before, so why questions are:
1_ what /username part is used for,
2_ Do other account users whom I share forms with, need to have this part as well, in order for them to visualized my forms (I am the owner)?
Thanks as usual for your answers andor hints!
Regarding your issue, if you configure your KoBoCollect android app in the way you have configured right now i.e. http://kc.humanitarianresponse.info/myusername if you are using the OCHA server or http://kc.kobotoolbox.org/myusername if you are using the HHI server, you should be able to sync your KoBoCollect android app with your user account. However, the same approach does not work for a shared project i.e. if someone has shared a project with you and you try to sync the project in your KoBoCollect android app, you should not be able to Get Blank Form into your KoBoCollect android app.
Thus for this you should configure your KoBoCollect android app as outlined in the post discussed previously:
thanks for your message, but I am afraid you did not answer my question.
At the moment I do not face an issue in getting the forms on my device. But I noticed something has changed and I wonder what happened and why.
Plus, as one of the child account I work with stopped synchronizing with my forms, I think this could shed some light in this issue.
Should I or should I not keep the /username part in the URL on my device?
and why? or why not?
Same goes for child accounts, should they need that part or not?
It would help, if you could explain what that part stands for , or it is used for,
Well if you are working with a child account you should not be using the /username. This is where the issue is. FYI, if it’s an admin username the /username should not affect syncing your data from your KoBoCollect android app to your KoBoToolbox user account but if it’s a child account the same affects.
