Regarding your issue, if you configure your KoBoCollect android app in the way you have configured right now i.e. http://kc.humanitarianresponse.info/myusername if you are using the OCHA server or http://kc.kobotoolbox.org/myusername if you are using the HHI server, you should be able to sync your KoBoCollect android app with your user account. However, the same approach does not work for a shared project i.e. if someone has shared a project with you and you try to sync the project in your KoBoCollect android app, you should not be able to Get Blank Form into your KoBoCollect android app.
